Yvolver

Engagement and monetization tools to keep mobile gamers in your app.

The ultimate question of every game developer: “How do I make more money?”

The answer—by keeping gamers in app! Developers regularly spend money acquiring new users, but inevitably those new recruits churn. If developers could just keep players engaged longer, viewing more ads and buying more goods, then of course they would see an uptick in intake.

At Yvolver we set out to leverage rewarded achievements and tiered VIP ranks (previously established by mobile app giants like ClashRoyale and Waze) to increase user engagement and retention. In the past, these programs were custom tailored and time-intensive to build, let alone maintain. Yvolver strived to simplify those engagement tools in an intuitive overlay packaged in an SDK that even the smallest developers could use.

“Game Developers increasingly view their acquisition programs as funneling money into a giant leaky bucket. Yvolver helps plug that leaky money.”

An Evolving Brand

When I started at Yvolver, I inherited one file with the original green logo. It was my task to both build a culture around this brand and expand it into all the offerings our business explored.

One of those offerings was the Yvolver Network, which sought to allow developers to share achievements and rank information across games.

When I came to Yvolver, only the original logo had been established. I needed to not only build a culture around it, but together with the Marketing Manager needed grow the brand and extend it into all the offerings our business explored.

One of those offerings was the Yvolver Network, which sought to allow developers to share achievements and rank information across a collection of games.
